We the People - Constitution Preamble



We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence(sic), promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America. 

In these fifty-two words of the constitution we can see a beginning to the creation of a nation based on several distinct principles.  The ideas that this will be a nation spelled out in things such as common justice and the promotion of welfare are essential to any nation but were important enough to begin one of the most historical documents in history.  Along with these ideas, so too were the importance of defense, since our forefathers knew our nation would come under attack, both physically and intangibly in the form of hostility for our ideals.  They also looked to the future in saying that the document was to secure the "blessings of liberty to ourselves, and our posterity" meaning that the future should have and hold the same ideas true.  In all the words of the Preamble set the stage for a nation in its budding years, but in no way is it the definitive end to the interpretation which can be implied to the rest of the document to follow. 



 This shows the ignorance of some people, which seem to influence others through their ignorance!!
